Tour groups for seeing fall foliage

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good tour company (bus, coach) to see New England Fall Foliage? Any better than the others in your opinion? Thanks

I%26#39;ve heard a lot of good stories from a relative that sent people on Country Squire Tours and if you go on the website www.gonewengland.com you%26#39;ll see the New England Holiday tour with the dates it%26#39;s available. It depends on what you%26#39;re going to pay and what you want to see. This one covers a lot of territory and it has places that I%26#39;d go to if I had to show people New England in so many days! It covers quite a bit and with the colors so brilliant it would be beautiful viewing sitting back relaxing from a large windowed bus! Another option is GLOBUS they have a really good tour. 1 800 680-2858, it%26#39;s there ';Classic Fall Foliage'; that I thought was fantastic when I read it. It starts in Boston, my hometown, it goes up to Portland, Me. then on to Bar Harbor which would be spectacular during the height of the foliage season, then it goes over to North Conway and Franconia Notch then to Burlington, Vt. and you%26#39;ll see the Dartmouth College campus evidently you%26#39;ll be in through that gorgeous area, it%26#39;s stunning this time of year! The tour then goes down to Stockbridge, MA where you%26#39;re able to check out the Rockwell Studio and Museum; I%26#39;ve been there it%26#39;s just incredible and unbelievable! It%26#39;s really quite a town, you won%26#39;t want to miss it, I had Thanksgiving dinner one year at the Inn in town! You then go to Sturbridge Village or vice versa I forget which! Then you go to Mystic Seaport in Connecticut and believe it or not they even have a swing by Foxwoods Casino I believe, and then on to Newport, RI to see the gorgeous mansions! It%26#39;s quite an area to cover, but the way they have it set up it%26#39;s very laid out and very very well done. Good luck and have FUN choosing a tour and visiting New England!

The ';leaf peepers'; are here (and it%26#39;s so early!) These buses were all over the place this morning! They look like they know exactly where they%26#39;re going too! They%26#39;re all on a mission! Have fun!

I recommend referring to the website for Yankee magazine. I just read an article in it about the first ';formal'; foliage tour in the Berkshires.

Their website specializes in travel around New England and they have links to all sorts of helpful info.

The website is:

Tuack Tours does a great one that starts and ends in Boston. They use good hotels and most meals are included. Tauck is generally rated the best domestic tour company by Travel and Leisure magazine. Even AAA has fall foliage tours that are good.

Taulk Tours is the ';original'; that I read of in Yankee...
