When is the BEST time to not miss leefpeeping???

To be able to not miss the changes of the leaves. When do you go?

End of September, beginning of October? We%26#39;re planning on going for ten days. But I have no idea when the best time is?

When is the BEST time to not miss leefpeeping???

Best long range plans I would guess about:

For very Northern NH Oct 5th - 15th

Central/Lakes Region NH Oct 11th-21st

Monadnocks/Southern NH Oct 15th - 25th

The reason I say guess is because a guess is what it is. Year to year it is never the same. Heat/cold, weather, and other environmental things control the destiny of the foliage. Last year very late Oct was best for So NH.

If you are coming book NOW!!!! Every year there are stories about people that sleep in their cars due to having no reservations. BOOK NOW!!! It%26#39;s a sight everyone needs to see once.

That calendar is really helpful ... I%26#39;ll chime in and agree that it%26#39;s pretty hard to schedule. Many people want to see ';peak'; = the time of (lasts about a week?) peak in brightness in the colors, but that is really a moving target, and if you are visiting it%26#39;s a great treat.

I hope you are able to come, it%26#39;s so pretty here in early Fall even if you are a bit early or late to the leaves. If you come early, you are in the middle of all of the fairs, where you can see the animals and farming displays (yes I am a country bumpkin!). Late and the leaves are starting to fall and blow around, a great time for walks and antiquing.
