A romantic day/evening.

I am looking for something special to do with my partner in Portsmouth, any ideas? I was thinking along the ideas of a floating restaurant but they don?????¢t seem to be in season an May.

A romantic day/evening.

There used to be a restaurant on a barge in the harbor, but I%26#39;m not sure if it%26#39;s there anymore. You might check the chamber of commerce about that. For romantic, fine dining, I would definitely recommend the Dolphin Striker (and you an get a discounted gift certificate through restaurants.com) Another fun thing to do is to go to Prescott Park after dinner or even have a picnic. They have plays outside on the waterfront throughout the summer - the summer season starts June 3 with the Chowder Festival. The park is full of

beautiful gardens and is on the waterfront and is nice to walk through any time of the year. Strawberry Banke is a living history museum that is across the street from Prescott Park - the buildings and grounds are beautiful. You could also take a drive south along Route 1. It is a scenic drive along the ocean past some beautiful mansions and beaches. It%26#39;s nice to stop at any point along the way and walk along the beach or sit on the sea wall.

An excellent website for further information is www.portsmouthnh.com

A romantic day/evening.

Dunfey%26#39;s (the restaurant on the boat has long since closed.) Deck dining is huge in Portsmouth! Try the Oar House Deck if it%26#39;s open.....also Anthony Alberto%26#39;s is very romantic...indoors though.

Check out the Music Hall for shows or stroll the beautiful gardens in Prescott Park.
