Lake Winnipesaukee Cruise or Portsmouth Inland River Cruise

I will be in New Hamsphire for the fall foliage and will be driving from Boston to Franconia on monday October 9. I am trying to decide on whether to take the Lake Winnipesaukee Cruise or Portsmouth Inland River and Fall Foliage Cruise. Have anybody done both?

I have taken both and enjoyed both. SInce you are already driving from Boston to Franconia, I would recommend the Mount Washington on the big lake. The foliage will be further along than at the coast and just for ease of driving it will be easier and less time spent in the car and more enjoying Mother Nature%26#39;s art show.
