Hello all, I%26#39;, interested in going to Durham NH and I wanted to find out the best way to get there..the most cost effective would be great too. Please help if you can. From my research flying into Boston and taking the train looks like it takes the least amount of time.
Getting to Durham, NH
Try checking out flying into Manchester Airport known in airport lingo as MHT. It%26#39;s easy to get to Durham from there but you will need a rent a car. If you%26#39;re planning on doing it with no car then Logan in Boston will be best and the train will get you right there. Or fly to Portland, ME and take the same train down to Durham.
Getting to Durham, NH
I grew up in Durham, but left many years ago. There was a ';limo'; service from Logan airport (actually a bus). You might contact the New England Center at the university to see if it%26#39;s still available.
Hi Kikidom79,
The best way from Buffalo, NY is Amtrak believe it or not. If you want to get to Durham the most cost effective way you can then that%26#39;s the way to go. It%26#39;s only about $200 round trip as opposed to flying which would run you approximately $253 up to $400 one way.
Also if you go to the C %26amp; J Trailways site:
www.cjtrailways.com/service-durham.htm
They have now hooked up with UNH and have arranged bus service from Boston which would get you right to the door of the Whittemore Center at UNH. This would be ideal for you and would save you a lot of time and money in the long run. If I were you I%26#39;d check out this site to see about it!
Good luck!
