White Mountains- lake cottage or cabin rental?

We would like to rent on a lake, a cabin or cottage - for a week up in New Hampshire near the white mountains.

White Mountains- lake cottage or cabin rental?

Not sure where in NH your headed, but a few lakes of interest are Ossipee, Squam or if you don%26#39;t mind traffic, the grand Daddy- Lake Winnipesaukee. Oh, and close by in Maine is Sebago which is really nice and quiet. A lake cottage will run you anywhere between 1000-2000 for the week. Cabins that at part of a motel will fetch about 700-900. The cabins are smaller and harder to find. The majority are old and rustic. Most cottages are clean and updated.

I prefer a Lake cottage. A bit more room and lots of quiet times. By the way when we are in NJ we stay at Point Pleasant Beach! Good luck! When you go, take the train in N.Conway to the Notch, its well worth the trip and something you won%26#39;t forget!
