Hello! Can someone please help. A friend of mine and I are tryin gto book a 3 day weekend for Memorial Day somewhere in NH (preferably within 3 hours of Rhode Island). We would love a luxurious Inn or resort with good food and horseback riding and a spa nearby. We are looking to get away fro the kids and just relax. We would ideally love to do one or two half day trail rides and then have a nice place to go back to and soak in the hot tub, eat, etc. Afternoon tea would definitely be a big plus. Any ideas? We would like to keep lodging to maybe $200 a night if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

It%26#39;s one of the best places to go for horseback riding in the White Mountains, IF you can get reservations! It%26#39;s probably 3 hours from Rhode Island I would say? From Boston it%26#39;s 2 1/2 hours, so give or take, it depends on where you live in Rhode Island of course. It%26#39;s actually not a bad drive up there and it would be a nice time of year to go before the crowds at the tolls start up for the summer! Just plan to leave Rhode Island on that Friday before Memorial Day at a good time so you won%26#39;t have heavy traffic at the tolls in NH; it%26#39;s getting brutal now each year with heavy traffic like Cape Cod!

Try the Mount Washington Hotel... probably closer to 4 hours from RI. Has a pool, spa, stables, golf and is one of the most beautiful settings in all of NE.
