Any decent restaurants in South Central and Southwestern NH? I%26#39;ve been to Parker%26#39;s Maple Barn in Mason, and the Peterborough Diner in Peterborough, but would like to find something different. Thanks!

Good Restaurants in Currier and Ives Country?
Hello HiddenBoston,
If you get the chance read this article from this webite I copied below about UNH%26#39;s Acorn Restaurant! The Phantom Gourmet gave it an unbelievably great review as well! We tried it for brunch several times? It was EXTREMELY good! You have to take a ride and try it some day here! I%26#39;m always telling people to go over and check it out! It was positively wonderful. You couldn%26#39;t beat it for the $$$ either! The key is to go there when the students aren%26#39;t there because when they%26#39;re at school this restaurant gets packed on weekends and it%26#39;s hard to get reservations we found. If you go when the students are on break or not there off season? It%26#39;s the best time to try it! You wouldn%26#39;t be disappointed in it at all. To find it on the campus is quite easy. You just need to look for the ';New England Center'; and Acorns Restaurant is in the building. You walk in this glassed area with a long walkway, you%26#39;ll see it when you pull up. Go through the doors and walk downstairs. well, wait until you see this stunning dining room. It%26#39;s got massive glass windows and a gorgeous floor to ceiling fireplace. The view from here is breathtaking; you%26#39;re looking out at the woods and stunning trees, in the wintertime? It%26#39;s positively beautiful. You won%26#39;t even think you%26#39;re in the UNH campus here when you see it! It%26#39;s really really pretty!
We were here several times for brunch on a Sunday but one time we went over there for lunch and it was just as nice. Check it out some day.

www.governorsinn.com

The 1686 Kingston House at 127 main St., at the corner of Rte 111 %26amp; Scotland Rd., is still good! I haven%26#39;t been there in ages and we tried it a few months ago and it was still good. 603 642-3637.
Have you been to the Puritan Back Room yet in Manchester, NH? It%26#39;s at 245 Hooksett Rd., well, it%26#39;s FANTASTIC! Check it out if you want to at
www.thepuritanbackroom.com
What an unbelievable place %26amp; menu they have! I had heard about it through the years and never tried it? Well it%26#39;s GREAT. Any time we run over to this area now to shop? We have to go here for lunch. It%26#39;s JUST the best! Here%26#39;s the # 603 669-6890. The website will have the menu and the directions on it. I think they%26#39;re a Greek restaurant I%26#39;m not sure, whatever it is it%26#39;s AWESOME. They%26#39;re famous for there broiled chicken tenders in a special sauce? The BEST around!
Have fun checking out these great places!
