Hi All,
I am planning to come to North Conway this weekend. I went for dinner at the Red Parker Pub years ago and want to return with my children. We are looking for a family friendly cool B%26amp;B or woodsy lodge type place for the night. And also find a bike path so we can go for a really long bike ride. Preferably off the road , maybe on a path in the country or woods? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks everyone. :)

that%26#39;s the Red Parka Pub.......I don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s a family oriented kind of place. I mean, by late afternoon and evening, the apres-ski beer/booze drinking crowd filters in and it%26#39;s a hopping bar with live music at night. The kind of place where you can toss the peanut shells on the floor. I think of it more as the place to go AFTER dumping your kids off with the babysitter.
As for the lodging, you might want to check out the cabins and lodge at the New England Inn in the Intervale resort loop on Rt. 16A just north of the scenic vista. www.newenglandinn.com

ALthough the bar at the Red Parka Pub is pretty lively, I%26#39;ve always found the dining rooms to be kid friendly, with good menu options. It%26#39;s a stndard for us after a busy day outdoors.
Have you checked out Glen Trails? They may have just the kind of off road biking that you are looking for.
For a change of pace, you might look into the lodging offered by the Appalachian Mountain Club, either in Pinkham Notch or at theri new facility in Crawford Notch. They usually have some intersting activities planned, and plaenty of hiking opportunites (www.outdoors.org)
Enjoy!!
P.S. Haven%26#39;t tried it yet myself but I hear lots of great things about the Muddy Moose restaurant in North Conway.
