Stonehurst Manor in North Conway

Has anyone ever stayed at the Stonehurst Manor? I%26#39;ve booked a room in the mountain view wing. How was the food? Any information would be appreciated.

I%26#39;ve not stayed at the Stonehurst but I%26#39;ve eaten there. Nice menu, great food. It%26#39;s located just off route 16 which is having alot of construction.

I have not stayed there either because I have a timeshare in the area that we visit every other year. However, my family makes a point of always having dinner at the Stonehurst at least once a trip. I rate the food an 8 or 9. We really go for the atmosphere and Mrs. Bigelow (the resident feline).

An even better dining experience is at the close by 1785 Inn. The food is a 10..the service a 10...the atmosphere a 10 also. There are some great dining experiences to be had in nearby Jackson also. Enjoy your trip and do tell all about your experience at the Stonehurst on your return please. Have always wanted to stay there.

THE STONEHURST MANOR is the cruise ship of NORTH CONWAY. A mountain view room is a typical motel room. The view from the bacony area we had was incredible. A walk through the grounds and a 15 min. sit down on the benches to look at the view is the most refreshed I%26#39;ve been in about ten years. We do go about twice a year 1 in winter and 1 in summer. Can%26#39;t beat the value the food is finer than any cruise ship I%26#39;ve been on. Stayed in the manor too it%26#39;s like stepping back in time.

We just got back today from staying there -- we had en excellent time. The owners/staff are just wonderful -- and the food was outstanding.
