Need New England Itinerary

We are a family of four - two daughters ages 10 and 13 - who will be in New Hampshire/Vermont for a family wedding in August. Following the wedding, we have 6 days to check out New England and need help forming an itinerary, since we are not familiar with the area. We fly in and out of Manchester, New Hampshire. My husband wants to visit the coast of Maine, but I%26#39;m afraid it might be too much driving. Can anyone help?

Many thanks.

Question...where exactly is the wedding? That will help give suggestions as to where you might like to head afterwards...

Need New England Itinerary

The wedding is in Bradford, Vermont, and we are staying in Lyme, New Hampshire. Thanks

6 days....after the wedding head over to the Burlington and/or Stowe area for 2-3 days. You can take a cruise on Lake Champlain, visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, shop and dine on Church Street (Burlington), go to the Ben %26amp; Jerry%26#39;s factory, take the gondola to the top of Mt. Mansfield in Stowe, blade/bike/walk Stowe%26#39;s Rec Path and drive through Smuggler%26#39;s Notch to name a few. Then head east to the White Mountains to spend the rest of your days. I don%26#39;t particularly For a family w/kids North Conway can%26#39;t be beat. Lots of activities - mini-golf, Storyland, Conway Scenic Railroad etc. Outlet Shopping GaloreHopefully some White Mtn ';experts'; can help you out further. Then head down to Manchester for your flight home!

Thanks for taking the time. It sounds like an excellent itinerary! All the best.

A hours drive from Manchester is the White Mountains and it would a great time in August to see the mountains, hike, take a ski lift ride and stay at Snowyowl Inn a great familyplace. You could also go to the Cannon Mountains ( www.cannonmt.com or whale watching ( www.yankeefleet.com)

Cheers
