We (Hubby and I with our 2 kids ages 1 and 5) will driving home to NJ from Maine the first week in August. We were hoping to break up the trip spending a day or two somewhere about half way. We%26#39;d love someplace that had something for the kids to do to burn some energy before heading the rest of the way. Any suggestions of a resort or area to stay?

You know? I wouldn%26#39;t even consider anywhere else but York%26#39;s Wild Animal Kingdom or any of the following places, to me, they%26#39;re really too young for a place like Hampton Beach, that%26#39;s more for older kids, especially where they%26#39;re so young, they%26#39;d love the Zoo in York or the petting farm! Just make sure to get to these places early; from what I remember---these places get so darn crowded, may be if you%26#39;re there during the week it won%26#39;t be as bad! GOOD LUCK, have FUN!

The Lakes Region NH is a beautiful area with a great range of different activities to do in the summer. http://www.lakesregion.org/
But the White Mountains area might have more for your younger ones! Places like Santas Village %26amp; Story Land
