We are heading back to N Conway in December. We stayed at the Luxury Mt Getaways last year..(Nordic Village) and loved them (except for the hard beds). We have also considered the Grand Summit at Attitash...only because its different, looks about the same in terms of amenities, but also has high-speed Internet.
Has anyone stayed at both of these or at the Grand Summit? We will be a family of 5 (2 teen daughters, son 11 and my wife and I). We are there mostly to see a traditional white Christmas, Nordic skiing, tubing, skating, shopping, site-seeing etc. We also love the outdoor heated pools and I like to have a good gym as well. LMG%26#39;s gym was adequate.
So the question is which is better...LMG or the Grand Summit?

Luxury Mt Getaways or Grand Summit Attitash ?
I stayed at the Mt. Washington Lodge, beside Mt. Washington Hotel when I was there - it was GORGEOUS. It is near Attitash - also they have the Bretton Woods Ski place and they have the bretton woods hotel place right across from Mt Wash hotel. But it is a bit away from North Conway
When I was in North Conway I stayed at Eastern Slopes hotel - it is very old and creaky but it is so GORGEOUS - it%26#39;s not modern like new hotels but it is really woody, and warm and cosy and Christmassy, like a Christmas card. and we went to the Muddy Moose for dinner - this place is great.
I wish I was going back - that%26#39;s why I got onto this forum.
