Looking for camp grounds in Weirs beach. I have found nothing in your web about them. Please advise. Jerry

There is no campground at Weirs Beach. There is camping, I believe, down the road at Gunstock Mtn, and Clearwater Campground is up the road in Meredith, off exit #23, I think.

Huskydog...you%26#39;ll be best served by heading north to Franconia Notch State Park. Lots of good NH State Park and privately owned grounds up that way plus it%26#39;s still an easy drive down to the Wiers. Once up at the Notch area there is plenty to do and for kids too. Camping is not my bag but the Notch is where most people go.

How far from Weirs beach is Franconia Notch State park, in Miles????

From Weirs Beach to Woodstock, NH (start of Franconia State Park) is 39 miles and Weirs to Franconia, NH (at end) is 59 miles.

Is the reason that you are goings to Weirs Beach that you will have a boat? If not there%26#39;s much more to do and see up at the Notch or along the Kancamangus Hwy or in North Conway.

We are going to laconia for the bike ralley. I was told that Weirs beach was right there. We have a 28 foot travel trailer. Need a place to stay for 5 days. Some thing close to the ralley. My wife can hot ride long distances. We have a toy hauler and will have the bike with us. Please advise if you can. Thank you, Husky Dog

I don%26#39;t do the bike week but I do go to the two NASCAR weekends and NHIS has on site camping for NASCAR and some people stay the whole week. That would make me assume they should for bike week too.

Check out weirs beach chamber of commerce website as they have all this info. Good luck finding a campsite for bike week. They are usually reserved year after year. If you can%26#39;t find a place in Laconia or Meredith (closest to Weirs) try New Hampton, Bristol which are closer than Franconia.

You might look into some of the campgrounds around the Loudon track, on Rt 106. The motorcycle races are at NHIS in Loudon about 20 miles southwest of Weirs Beach. I would tend to look for places to the south of the Weirs if you were interested in the races.

An earlier post mentioned Gunstock. That is a good location for this weekend, but it might be full.
