Surprise 25th Anniversary Get-Away!

Looking for suggestions on a hotel/ resort/ area to send my sister %26amp; her husband to New Hampshire for 2 nights to celebrate their anniversary ~ a surprise gift!

They%26#39;d love the Conway/ Jackson area, Portsmouth, maybe... She loves craft shops. We%26#39;re looking to send them on a romantic weekend in September ~ but not Mt. Washington Hotel pricing.

Any ideas welcome. Thanks.

Surprise 25th Anniversary Get-Away!

I love the Conway/Jackson area too. A couple of years ago we stayed at the Village Inn in Jackson, which was very reasonable, but probably not special enough for an Anniversary. We walked down to Jackson Falls and when I saw the Wentworth, I promised myself that someday we will stay there. The place is beautiful. Their rates are less than Mt. Washington Hotel and they include dinner and breakfast!! Here is the link to the rate page:

Hopefully someone who reads this forum has stayed there and can tell you if it is as nice as it looks.
