My husband and I are looking to camp for a few days in the Plymouth/Holderness/Meredith area around the third weekend in Sept. The place doesn%26#39;t have to be entirely isolated, but we don%26#39;t really want to share space with dieseled RVs humming right alongside our tent. We also like to have some town experiences (strolling, shopping) nearby (we cook most everything on the campfire). Might anyone have any insight into this area or should we be heading somewhere else? Thanks!

Another really good spot is the Long Island Bridge Campground. It%26#39;s great. The above website has the info for it. They%26#39;re convenient for the Center Harbor shops and that whole area of the Lakes region. I%26#39;m going up that way at the crack of dawn in the AM myself, can%26#39;t wait! Enjoy!
