Anyone have any recent luck for pricing in Portsmouth NH? I am planning a last minute trip for tomorrow and want to try priceline. Anyone have any hits on it? What prices did you get ? Thanks

Funny you posted this. I just tried priceline to stay in Portsmouth/Kittery tommorow night - August 21st. I selected 3 star place - and priceline said the going rate would be $219 - which is insane! I stayed at the Anchorage Inn in Portsmouth about a month ago for $75 . I put in $100 because that is all I think those places around there are worth and my bid was rejected.
I decided to look outside of Portsmouth and found a great B%26amp;B in Durham for a $120 - with a full gourmet breakfast included.
My other experiences with priceline have been positive. I have found great places at great prices in Boston and NYC using priceline.
