Portsmouth for Thanksgiving

Does anyone know of any restaurants in the Portsmouth area that are serving Thanksgiving dinner? Due to last minute changes in plans, our families will be travelling from Concord, NH and Portland, Me. to gather in the Portsmouth area. Thank you very much.

There%26#39;s a restaurant in Portsmouth called the Dunaway Restaurant across from Prescott Park and the executive Chef is Mary Dumont. If I were you I%26#39;d call to see if they%26#39;re having Thanksgiving Dinner here because it would be incredible if they are. See if you can get reservations for it. It%26#39;s right at Strawbery Banke @ 66 Marcy St. The # is 603 373-6112.

I think it%26#39;s her brother that%26#39;s also the Executive Chef, his name is Dan Dumont and he%26#39;s at the Wentworth By The Sea Hotel that%26#39;s absolutely having Thanksgiving Dinner because I almost booked it but we%26#39;re going up to the White Mountains this year instead! This one at the Wentworth By the Sea looks fantastic! Wicked expensive; but it sounds unbelievably fabulous when you go to there site! So check one of these out may be? There was a really good write up in the Portsmouth Herald about this family of Chefs and they sound like they%26#39;re doing quite well for themselves!

This conversation came up a week or two ago on where to have Thanksgiving Dinner on the Seacoast and the only other places I could think of that would be really good are up in Maine, I couldn%26#39;t see anything that jumped out at me on the Seacoast sorry other than the ones mentioned above! Maine wouldn%26#39;t be that further of a drive for you, as you know, right up the coast. The York Harbor Inn has a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner or buffet you%26#39;d have to call as soon as you can for reservations I would think, the sooner the better with it!

One last place that you could check is the Stage Neck Inn in York. There Thanksgiving Dinner or Buffet looked terrific online as well.

Maybe other people will give you some suggestions as well, the sooner you call a place the better off you%26#39;ll be like I said, it%26#39;s going to be here before we know it....

Thank you so much for all your wonderful suggestions. Our plans have changed again, so now I am the one cooking. I do look forward to trying some of the restaurants that you have mentioned in the future, since Portsmouth is only a 45 min. ride from Portland. Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the White Mts. It sounds like there could be snow in the forecast!
