I am looking for recommendations for a good place to stay near Storyland that has a reasonably large indoor pool and comfortable accommodations for a family of four (the kids are ages 4 and 8), price range up to about $200 per night. We will be traveling the last week of June. Thank you for your suggestions!
Family accommodations near Storyland
There is a site called www.cyberrentals.com that will give you a list of condos in the North Conway area that may fit your needs. We used them for that very same purpose, and found a condo with an indoor/outdoor pool, rec. center. That was about a half mile from Storyland.

We are also going to Storyland at the end of June and are staying at a condo not far from storyland that we booked through Top Notch Rentals. It is a condo with a full kitchen and a jacuzzi tub for 2. My boys are 2 and 7. We stayed 2 years ago and couldn%26#39;t wait to come back. I believe also that because we booked 4 nights, our last nights stay is free. Have a great trip!
Hello, don%26#39;t know if you have already booked your hotel, but my family and I just stayed at a place half way between Santa%26#39;s Village and Storyland. About twenty miles from each. It is the Town and Country Motor Inn. Very nice indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Game room and fitness room also. Great restaurant. Pets allowed. We stayed off season, $72 per night. Now I think it is around $80. Rooms have two double beds, standard stuff, but clean. Staff very nice. They did have some suites but I didn%26#39;t see those. No coffee makers in rooms so if you must have coffee first thing, bring your own. Refrigerators cost $6 extra. It is in Shelburne on Rte 2, near the lovely town of Gorham. If you go to Story land you really should see Santas Village too. They have reindeer for the first time this year. Our kids loved it. Six Gun City is near Santas Village too.

You might want to try Cranmore Mt. Lodge. It%26#39;s a very friendly little Inn that%26#39;s just outside of North Conway. The Innkeepers, Jean and Kev, are very friendly and accomodating and welcome families with children to their inn. THey have a pool and hot tub as well as a great little farm that we spent time at after Storyland.
Their web site is http://www.cml1.com. If you go, please let them know that Joe and Anne said hi.
I have stayed at the Green Granite in North Conway, a good family with indoor pool. The GG used to have nightly movies with free popcorn, which was a lot of fun for the kids after a day of shopping or amusement parks.

I was going to stay at the Eastern Inns motel just about a quarter mile north of North Conway village, but changed bookings at the last minute. Nevertheless, they had a suite room that had a separate bedroom and a pullout couch in the living room area, I believe. Indoor pool and jacuzzi, too, I think. Walking distance to the village restaurants and shops around Schouler Park and the scenic RR train station. Huge playground and basketball court and baseball field at Schouler Park, with the most awesome backdrop view of the Moat Mtns. This place appeared to be clean and simple at a very affordable price. And kid friendly, too. Think they even have a small playground on-site. Believe the website is www.easterninns.com.
