North Conway, 1768 Country Inn

I will be visiting North Conway in August (mid-week) and was looking at 1768 Country Inn, has any ever stayed there and if so please comment. Thank You

If you meant to ask about the 1785 Inn...I can comment on that. I don%26#39;t believe there is a 1768 Country Inn in North Conway.

I have never stayed at the l785 Inn, but have eaten dinner there several times, including once last month. The food was excellent and well worth the price. The inn is situated on a busy main road, so if you do decide to stay there, make sure to ask for a room overlooking the rear of the inn%26#39;s property. It will be a lot quieter and give you a lovely distant view.

If you don%26#39;t mind being a few miles away from North Conway (an easy drive), I recommend you stay at the Carter Notch Inn in Jackson. We spent a week there last month, as well as a week in 2004. The new owners took up the reins from the prior wonderful hosts, and haven%26#39;t missed a beat. Their hospitality was wonderful....fabulous breakfasts...lovely rooms....great guests. The location, on a country road next to a large hotel, is a a lot quieter and prettier than at the 1785 Inn, and I believe you would be better off staying there. They don%26#39;t serve dinner at the Carter Notch Inn....but you can always eat at the 1785 Inn or any one of a number of great restaurants and inns in the Jackson/North Conway area.

North Conway, 1768 Country Inn

I memory serves there is a 1768 inn , it is on Rte 16 next to The Eastman Inn, I have never stayed there so I can%26#39;t comment either.

Just wanted to let you know that I had friends that stayed at this establishment this past Monday night and they were not happy with it at all - they were supposed to stay two nights, but only stayed for one. The place was not very clean and they do not serve their breakfast until 9:30, which for anyone travelling, is late. They were not dealt with very kindly when they decided not to stay the other night there. They certainly do not recommend anyone staying there.
