Does anyone know of a fun spot to hit this weekend? Keep in mind that we are not 21, we are all in our 40%26#39;s. Maybe some live music, dancing, or even a sports pub. Got the Tuckermans Tavern from another posting.
Thank you in advance.

Hello Luvcaicos,
You know that Tuckermans Tavern looks great! I just saw it online; that looks perfect! The only thing I saw online near it is the Red Parka Pub? That was always really good in the pub.
I mean unless you wanted to travel over to Portsmouth that%26#39;s all I could see online that jumped out at me for 40 and up people like us!

Portsmouth has all kinds of places to go to and even walking through the whole area is fun and checking out the different spots, you wouldn%26#39;t be confined to one place you know?
We always take a ride down to Newburyport too, it%26#39;s fun at the Grog and Michael%26#39;s Waterfront, the Black Cow for dinner is fun and at least here you can walk through the downtown area and there%26#39;s different places to check out. Just as a suggestion. Although North Conway is like that too as far as walking around the town and going from place to place; it%26#39;s just that some times some of those pubs and restaurants are in such remote places you know!
Have fun I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll manage, we all do!

Thank You very much for that information. I think we will check out Tuckerman%26#39;s and possibly the Parka. We are actually from Mass and my sister lives on Plum Island. So we are frequent visitors to the Newburyport Area. That is actually one of my favorite places to wander around. Portsmouth is a little further, but also a great place. Thanks again for the info, 1 more day to go. Thanks
I mentioned Tuckerman%26#39;s tavern a few days ago. Very nice looking bar inside. Enough TVs to watch from wherever you are sitting. They do have live entertainment in there, but I%26#39;ve never seen it. It might be later on after the dinner crowd slows down, because I think the staging is in a corner of the dining room.
Red Parka Pub is more lively, I think, when the bands are playing. A toss-your-peanuts-on-the-floor kind of place, which adds to its character.
Just wanted to add a vote for the Red Parka Pub..Great atmosphere, always lively, and very popular with local folks, and that keeps things interesting. Hope you have a great time.
Hi, in addition to The Red Parka (get there early if so you don%26#39;t have to wait in line once the band is on stage), you can find great entertainment at Horsefeather%26#39;s (at the UpBar) and also at The Shannon Door Pub in Jackson.
