I have to drive from Boston to Bedford, New Hampshire next weekend. Are there any cute towns along the way to stop for a country breakfast with homecooking and fresh baked goodies?
Breakfast places in Southern New HampshireHi,
Unfortunately you will be on a major highway route 93 most of the way. Nothing cute on that route. It is a heavly traveled road and will probably be busy with all the Mass. residents coming to NH to Christmas shop tax free. The ride should only take you and hour to 1hr 10min if the weather is good.

Breakfast places in Southern New HampshireGood morning JHB22365,
The previous poster is right, there%26#39;s nothing that jumps out at me either for breakfast from the drive from Boston! It%26#39;s not a bad drive up 93, it%26#39;s a straight run up. If you didn%26#39;t mind waiting until you got up there though, because there%26#39;s a really great place right in Bedford called ';The Bedford Village Inn'; located at 2 Village Inn Lane. There tel # is 603 472-2001. Look for it, because it%26#39;s open 7 days a week and breakfast is quite good there. It%26#39;s so good that it%26#39;s worth the wait, I%26#39;m telling you! Check out there site...

You%26#39;d really like this Inn! Here%26#39;s a description of it....
Part of a farm that dates from the early 19th century, Bedford Village Inn stands as one of the area%26#39;s premier elegant dining establishments. The yellow clapboard home offers a variety of settings, from the sophisticated East Room with its Eastern-influenced decor to the warm Overlook Room, whose rich cherry paneling, fireplace, and bookshelves capture the manor%26#39;s true spirit. Sunday brunch is an impressive affair, tempting folks with Maine Jonah crab soufflé, pan-fried lemon sole with Italian couscous, and eggs Benedict with maple griddle cakes and smokehouse Canadian bacon. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
