Trying to decide which place to stay for 3 nights in Jackson: 1) Carter Notch Inn, 2) Inn at Ellis River or 3) Christmas Farm Inn. Looking for recommendations.

Hi- The Carter Notch Inn and Ellis River are both B%26amp;B%26#39;s as Xmas Farm is a traditional inn serving b.l,d and has a pub. Carter Notch is a New England style bldg owned by Richard %26amp; Sally from England. The great majority of folks who have stayed love them and their b%26amp;b. The b%26amp;b%26#39;s do not have as many amenities as inn%26#39;s so it dependeds on your likes. There are many resturants and pubs with music in the area if that%26#39;s what you like. All three are within a mile of one another and close to Main St in the village. Have a good trip.

We have stayed at the Carter Notch Inn a few times and it%26#39;s the BEST for everything. The best breakfast, the best innkeepers, the best location (nice and quiet with golf course views and an amazing rock/waterfall just minutes away)and the best pets (Henry and LULU). They have TONS of information about the area and can give you MANY tips on what to do. Beautiful yard with lots of spots to just hang out, especially the hot tub next to the fire...
