We are going to North Conway for the weekend at the end of July. Any recommendations for accommodation? Our budget is around 100 dollars/room/night. Many thanks to your advice in advance!

I haven%26#39;t stayed in ANY hotels/motels in North Conway, but I%26#39;ve been vacationing here for 20+ years. There are a TON of small motels along Rt 16 from Conway Center right up and thru North Conway Village and into Bartlett. One item to consider is that there is apparently ongong construction along RT 16 as they are burying utilities underground. I haven%26#39;t been up there yet this summer, so I have no idea just how much the road is torn up and for what stretches of the main strip. Personally, I would never stay at any of the places close to the outlets on the southern end of the strip. The traffic is brutal here in both directions, and that%26#39;s without construction. All of these small motels I%26#39;m sure are probably in the $50-75 a nite range. For a non-holiday weekend at the end of July, I%26#39;m sure you could find a room without a reservation. I%26#39;ve read here on TripAdvisor that the N. Conway Grand Hotel, right by the Settler%26#39;s Green Outlet complex at the southern end of the strip, is a haven for families, with tons of kids. Green Granite Hotel, also right amongst the outlets, has a mini golf place right adjacent to it that is open well into the evening. Don%26#39;t know what degree of peacefulness you may be interested in. Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Inn are a couple more of the bigger hotel/motel facilities also in walking distance to the outlets. Like I said though, I%26#39;d try to find a place closer to N. Conway Village. One suggestion I%26#39;ve pushed on a couple of posters ( I had a booking here, but cancelled last minute when we opted to go to Wolfeboro instead) is Eastern Inns, just a stone%26#39;s throw north of North Conway Village. Check out www.easterninns.com. You can get your room there for about $100 a nite, with indoor pool/jacuzzi, and it%26#39;s a 5 minute walk to the village with all its interesting shops and restaurants and beautiful Schouler Park. Enjoy the views for me.....
