Looking for any resorts/hotels in New Hampshire or Maine that have a kiddie pool for our little ones. Thank you.

One of the reviewers of Fox Ridge Resort said that her 40'; high daughter could touch the bottom of the pool.

But in Vermont there is Smugglers Notch. I keep looking for something better/different to take the kids but still can%26#39;t find it.

Sorry I forgot to add Steele Hill Resort which is in New Hampshire. I haven%26#39;t been to it, but the pictures look like its got a great pool for the little ones. Check out their website and intervalworld.com

We have a 5- and a 7-yr old who are just now learning to swim. We own a place in Waterville Valley, and have had great luck both

- in our condo, the Black Bear Lodge -- small indoor / outdoor with a swim-under divider, all one depth of about 3.5 feet --- my son, who is about 50'; tall, is supremely comfortable practicing swimming there

- at the White Mountain Athletic Club (in Waterville Valley), which has an Olympic-sized pool with a %26lt;4-foot shallow end, and excellent stairs for ingress, and a foot-deep kiddie splash pool.

Waterville Valley is a great place to get away, whether you ski or not. It%26#39;s in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, literally surrounded by park land, so you feel like you%26#39;ve ';escaped'; the moment you arrive. There are numerous family-friendly activities and restaurants to choose from, regardless of the season. If you do ski (and your kids don%26#39;t, yet), I can%26#39;t compliment the WV ski resort%26#39;s ';Kids Kamp'; program highly enough -- it is very well run, and they have done great stuff with our kids over the last year.

Last year my mom, sister and I went to the Valley Inn and Red Fox Tavern at Waterville Valley. Reasonable prices for regulary rooms, pool definitely accomodates the little ones. They even have a reasonably priced breakfast in the morning that will appeal to fincky children.

Reason why I know all of this? My mother, sister and i made the mistake of booking their suite for a pre wedding getaway on the same weekend as the kiddie hockey tournaments were up there. While WE had a ';not so good'; time.....everyone elses kids were having a blast in the indoor outdoor pool and hot tub. And so were their parents.

Definitely a place for families.

Red Jacket in North Conway is very child oriented ( I have 3 under 5 years and we usually stay here) Just tried the Comfort Inn and Suites in North Conway- it was great- we had the place to ourselves (we travel during the week) the pool was 3.5 to 5 feet deep, was clean and small so I felt comfortable letting the kids swim while I watched. I just booked a two bedroom suite at Luxury Mountain Getaways (owners of Nestlenook Farms and others in this ';resort'; ) in Jackson. There is an indoor/outdoor pool, sleigh rides and skating. Hopefully it will live up to it%26#39;s ad!
