Lake or Pond

Hi all, I%26#39;m planning a trip to the Maine/New Hampshire region in July and am hoping to spend a day or two somewhere with a nice lake or pond to go swiming in. I%26#39;m looking for guidance and suggestions.

Lake or Pond

Kezar Lake in Maine. One of the the most beautiful lakes around.

Lake or Pond

You%26#39;re probably GONE already, sorry I just saw your message tonight! If you get the chance go to the Lakes region of New Hampshire. See if you can get some place to stay near Center Harbor, NH or Moultonboro! There%26#39;s a lot of shops, beaches, restaurants and things to do and see. It%26#39;s my favorite part of the whole State! Good luck! My favorite beach is the one off of Moultonboro Neck Rd., just past the Trexler Marina. It%26#39;s the prettiest and cleanest beach, I%26#39;ve found, not to mention quiet! In around Center Harbor is really nice too!

Also, in Wolfeboro there are a few public beaches with clean water to enjoy yourself, both on Lake Winnepesauke and Lake Wentworth.

Carry Beach in Wolfeboro.....the most beautiful sunsets straight out from the beach this time of year.

We%26#39;ve had to stay away from Carry Beach due to Duck Itch. We still favor Allen ';A'; or Brewster.

Are you familiar with beaches in Moultonborough ? 19 or 20 mile beach ???
