Keene area lodging

Can anyone advise me about a reasonable/good B%26amp;B in the Keene area? My husband and I are going up there for a Friday night stay and we don%26#39;t want to ';break the bank,'; but we love B%26amp;Bs. We don%26#39;t want to spend more than $100/night. Thanks in advance for your help!!

Keene area lodging

We live pretty near Keene, so we have never stayed there. However, it is a lovely town with great restaurants. One of these is located in the E.F. Lane Hotel, which I think is a nice hotel.

I don%26#39;t remember seeing many B%26amp;Bs, but one I have passed right on Main Street has the following web page. It is true that you could walk down Main Street to any restaurant there. It is probably more reasonable than the Lane Hotel (which was recently redone).

If you want to climb Mt. Monadnock, there are other B%26amp;Bs closer to the mountain in Jaffrey and Peterborough, NH. I have always thought that the Benjamin Prescott Inn looked lovely as a B%26amp;B.
