First Time Visit

My family and I are going to the White Mountians for the first time in July. We have two childern under the age of five. We are looking for a cottage with a full kitchen. We came across ';Tanglewood Motel %26amp; Cottages'; in North Conway and ';Grandview Lodge %26amp; Cabins'; in Randolph. Does any one have any opinions on these locations? How close are they to Storyland?

North Conway is probably the closest to Storyland...maybe a 5 - 10 minute drive depending upon traffic....

I couldn%26#39;t help but notice your post...and although I don%26#39;t have hotel advice I thought I turn you on to these great little backroad maps I just bumped into that helped me get around NE in a scenic way.

The company makes one booklet for each state in NE and there are 7 back road routes mapped out for each.

Each map card gives you scenic back road routes with a map on one side and turn by turn directions on the other side.

These are awesome b/c each map lists the attractions you will pass on each route.

In the back of each booklet is the phone number to the attractions in case you want to visit on a whim and need more info.
