Need restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner

We (father, mother, 21-yo and 18-yo kids)will be spending Thanksgiving weekend in North Conway area, and are looking for a nice, but not formal, place to have Thanksgiving dinner. Prefer buffet style to prix fix meal. We are even willing to drive a bit (30 mins or so) in any direction from North Conway if necessary. Does anyone have any recommendations?

There%26#39;s a place right in Jackson, only a minute away from North Conway called the Redfox Bar and Grille. Go to this site www.redfoxbarandgrille.com, it%26#39;s got GREAT food! They have a buffet on Sundays and may be they%26#39;re doing something for Thanksgiving as well? I%26#39;d still try calling them to see

what there planning for the holiday.

There%26#39;s Bellinis right in North Conway on Rte 16 check out www.bellinis.com

It%26#39;s very good and a fun type of place to be in.

Horsefeathers is great too! It%26#39;s in the center of North Conway Village and was always excellent for years! See if they%26#39;re doing anything for the holiday maybe?

Stonehurst Manor www.stonehurstmanor.com has a dining room that%26#39;s GREAT. If you want to go to an Inn close by, check it out.

Further away the two places for Thanksgiving Buffets that are INCREDIBLE but for you they%26#39;d be over an hour away. Check them out any way and see what you think. York Harbor Inn www.yorkharborinn.com at 1 800 343-3869 has an incredible Thanksgiving dinner and the other place that I%26#39;ve been to is the Stage Neck Inn and this is quite good as well. It%26#39;s online so you can see what they do at www.stageneckinn.com

You might get different suggestions here, so keep checking back from time to time before you leave!

This year my family and I are going to the North Conway area as well! We want to check out this Wentworth in Jackson Village, so we made reservations for dinner! (www.thewentworth.com) I can%26#39;t wait to be up there and check it out! I heard so much about it on this site right here for months!

The two restaurants Stage Neck Inn and York Harbor Inn are in York, MAINE just so you know. They%26#39;re 80 miles away from North Conway; close to a 2 hour drive unfortunately. If you don%26#39;t mind driving that far. I%26#39;m driving up from the Seacoast of NH myself to the White Mountains for Thanksgiving and leaving around noontime for dinner reservations at 6 just so we can spend the day up through there.

If you go to www.stageneck.com to see what they offer for their Holiday dinner, you%26#39;ll see what I mean, it%26#39;s FABULOUS and so isn%26#39;t the York Harbor Inn! If it was only closer for you up at North Conway because they%26#39;re both well worth it IF you can get reservations, it%26#39;s pretty popular, you%26#39;d have to call as soon as you see this info.

I gave you the wrong info for The Stage Neck Inn it%26#39;s www.stageneck.com NOT with the Inn at the end when you plug it in, sorry about that!

The Wildcat Inn %26amp; Tavern in Jackson has a holiday buffet. It%26#39;s cozy, lots of characytr and not too stuffy/formal. Right in the centr of Jackson Village - great location, absolutely beautiful spot.

There are also Thanksgiving diners at The Wentworth, and the Inn at Thron Hill. These might be a little more formal, sit down, fixed menu type of set up.

I just looked back for different suggestions previously put here because I distinctly remember there was a restaurant in No. Conway that Yankee Magazine picked as their Editor%26#39;s Pick a few years ago. It%26#39;s supposed to be VERY good and I FOUND it just now right here. See if you can get reservations for this place maybe? It looks GREAT...

The Thompson House Eatery it%26#39;s right on Rte 16A give them a call for reservations...@ 603 383-9341.

We used to visit friends in York, ME, and on one of those trips we visited North Conway, NH... would be finny to do it in reverse, ie, be vacationing in North Conway and visit York! Would prefer not to drive that far if we don%26#39;t have to.

Yankkee Magazine is featuring WHitney%26#39;s Thanksgiving Buffet in their Yankee.com Travel pages this month. I%26#39;ve never been, but you might want to check it iut. Whitney%26#39;s a more more informal, family atmosphere.
